New Book Coming Soon:

Seeking the Truth:  The Art & Science of Jury Selection.  This is the first of two volumes on the art and science of trial work.  The second volume will be published in 2013, entitled Telling the Truth: The Psychological Construction of Narratives That Persuade.

Current Film Projects:

Peter Coyote has agreed to narrate the new feature documentary by Charles Abourezk & Brett Lawlor (Badlands Films) entitled Red State Blues. This documentary will examine liberal South Dakota politicians George McGovern and Jim Abourezk and how they were repeatedly elected in a relatively conservative state.

Charles Abourezk is also working on two new documentaries: One on J.L Moreno and his theories/methods of psychodrama and sociometry, featuring John Nolte. The other is a documentary on Indian folksinger, actor, and activist Floyd Red Crow Westerman.
